How to Add a New Blog

Every Shopify store starts with a default blog named "News," but you can create custom blogs for different topics (e.g., Recipes, Tutorials, or Press Updates).

  1. Navigate: From your Admin, go to Content > Blog Posts.

  2. Add: Click Add Blog.

  3. Title: Give it a name (up to 255 characters).

  4. Comments: Choose how you want to manage reader feedback.

  5. Optimize: Edit your search engine listing details for better reach.

  6. Save: You're ready to start writing!

Pro Tip: If you need to update an existing blog, simply click the blog name in the Blog Posts section to edit the title or comment settings.

Creating Your First Post

Ready to publish? Follow these quick steps to get your content live:

  • Content: Enter your title and write your post in the rich text editor.

  • Organization: Select the Author and assign the post to a specific Blog.

  • Visuals: Upload a featured image to grab attention on your landing page.

  • Scheduling: Choose Visible to publish immediately, or click the Calendar icon to schedule your post for a future date.
